Malia Obama appears to be smoking pot at Lollapalooza!!

Malia Obama won’t be able to roll her way out of this one.

The 18-year-old first kid was caught smoking what looks like a joint at a concert in a video that emerged Wednesday.

In the 9-second clip, the elder child of President Obama can be seen in the background smoking as a young girl in the foreground of the video dances and sticks her tongue out.

An eyewitness claimed that Obama was smoking pot, according to the website.

Obama sparked some controversy in July after she skipped out on Hillary Clinton’s historic speech at the Democratic National Convention to rock out at Lollapalooza instead.

Photographs and videos of Obama also surfaced showing her bustin’ a move at the music fest.

Her commander-in-chief dad admitted in his memoir to smoking pot and using “a little blow” in high school and college.

Marijuana was recently decriminalized in the state of Illinois – where Malia was allegedly caught smoking.

State Gov. Bruce Rauner signed a bill into law this month that removes criminal penalties for those found in possession of 10 grams of marijuana or less.

The Price of the Spotlight

The price of the spotlight is pretty high when you are a celebrity, but it reaches the max when your dad is the “Face of America”. For years POTUS has endured criticism from every angle but managed to run his final lap with no personal scandals. This was until Malia decided to become a rebellious teenager. One may never know what drove her to hike up that skirt or puff puff pass that oh-so-stingy -joint. Maybe it was the thrill of knowing Secret Service was close to ending their 8 year shift, maybe it was the desire to taint her “perfect image” or maybe she was just being an average college bound teenager enjoying/experiencing life. Sadly, Malia does not have the luxury of the latter option, therefore (in a perfect world) she should have gone out of her way to uphold this image until President Obama was given his official walking papers. In my opinion, I believe this could have been avoided if she was surrounded by “mindful” friends. The term friend is used loosely in this statement due to the fact that friends would have scanned the crowd for any smartphones pointed directly at the First Daughter. Friends would have stood in front her while she danced offbeat to her favorite song. Friends would have made sure she was in a secure/secluded spot while she decided to inhale. Nevertheless, this incident will serve as a much needed life lesson regarding the importance of friends vs. acquaintances; unfortunately she was a student in the spotlight.

The Disappointment 2016

Imagine this... You are President Obama taking your daily morning stroll from the White House smoking area towards the Oval Office. Before we begin, ponder on this question. Does the POTUS have to smoke in the smoking area outside the White House? Or do they just let him fire up wherever? I mean you are the man if you are POTUS right? LOL! Moving forward, Obama continues through the hallway throwing a playful middle finger to his VP Joe Biden as he pops his head in his office and realizes he is on the phone. You finally reach the Oval Office, throw a salute to your Marines, enter the office, and recline back in the Presidential chair at your desk. “Life is good!” you say to yourself. “Only about 6 months and I'm out this bitch!” you chuckle as you grab your Blackberry, probably the only one left in the world, from your Tom Ford suit jacket and check your Twitter feed. “What the fuck! Malia! Somebody get Michelle in hear right fucking now!” you shout to your secretary. Michelle rushes in and replies, “Barack, you know this me popping in on your demand shit ends in 6 months right?” I was on my last set of planks for the day! Better be good.” she concludes. “Look what your daughter is doing back home in the Chi, downtown, in our hometown to some new young thunder cat performing at Lollapalooza!” Obama sarcastically replies. Michelle glances at the phone in amazement and replies, “These workout clothes have just turned to whoop ass clothes! Gas up the jet! I'm coming home!”

The above scenario is meant to bring humor to a very serious situation. As everyday mom's and dad's what do you do? As you form your answer to this question, a myriad of social stances will probably influence your answer. Your political views and religion will be some of the first things you are likely to consider. However, what will more than likely influence your decision, even over the above mentioned influencers, will be what your social media friends will think of you. So imagine the microscope you feel you are under due to a couple hundred Facebook friends. Now multiple that times one million and you are now the Obama's!

Life decisions are heavily influenced by perspective! 10 years ago, when I was a bit younger, I would personally not have had an issue with this incident. I would have probably said something like “It's only a little harmless dancing and a few puffs of the marijuana. Obama is on his way out anyway! Let her live!” LOL! However a more introspective MrJackBrickhouse, realizes this is bigger than her puffing the pot! This is Legacy changer! For over 8 years, the man has been able to steer clear of side chicks and the other pitfalls previous presidents have shown us are lurking around in the shadows of the White House. After a successful 3 ½ quarters on the hardwood, you create a turnover causing the POTUS to blow a 20 point lead. Tragic!

I'll conclude with two questions.

As I sit here rolling up this joint, preparing to enjoy this phenomenal strain of HIGH GRADE ganja, I can't help but reflect back to my youth. Similar to Malia Obama, my father was too a prominent man in our society that was held in high regard. I have dealt with the pressure of being a kid who always has had eyes following my every move. You don't ask for that pressure coming up. You adjust to the fact that you're different. That the bar has been set higher for you amongst your peers. The fact that when you make a mistake or participate in adolescent behavior, in which is not always the most becoming, it is written off as such CHILDISH BEHAVIOR!!!! We may get scolded IF caught. We may disappoint our parents and family members by poor choices of judgement, but we were young and dumb. We thought we knew it all. What's really alarming, however, is those same people that scold, judge, & punish us for our youthful blunders also indulged in their own mishaps coming up... What did Malia actually do? No Really Let's All Stop And Take Off The "I GOTCHA" glasses that we tend to use with prominent people in the lime light as we wait and see their mistakes and pounce on them the moment they make one... She is a college student on summer vacation at 1 of the greatest music fest in the world where both young and old come together to party and enjoy the best DAMN MUSIC ACTS AROUND THE WORLD! Are We Really Having A Discussion about an 18yr old young lady smoking a joint?? Oh! Wait we are judging her because she was caught on camera! OOOhhhh! Wait we are judging her friends because they should have helped her hide her youthful indulges better. Nope that's not it either. She is doing something ILLEGAL... COME QUICK EVERYBODY THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLDS DAUGHTER SMOKED A JOINT AT 18, HOLY FUCKING SHIT I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! How about we all get the fuck off this proverbial so called HIGH HORSES and understand that if we had a microscope on our every move right now, fuck our adolescence I mean In our adulthood, more than half of us would be without a job relationship and be blacklisted by our families. Whelp as my joint finishes, that I proudly smoke along side in spirit and support with young Malia ends, 2 things are clear.
1. This World Is Filling Up Everyday With A Bunch Of Delusional, Judgmental, Prudes!!!
